Suspect arrested from Bikaner, Pakistani numbers found in his mobile

A youth from the Nayashahr police station area has been taken into custody by Bikaner Police following the arrest and questioning of a Maulvi from Surat, Gujarat. According to Tejaswini Gautam, the district superintendent of police in the Nayashahr police station area, Ashok Suthar, also known as Abu Bakar, has been arrested by the police based on information provided by the Gujarat Police.

SP Tejaswini Gautam stated that Surat Crime Branch Police arrived in Bikaner and provided information on the youth to the local police, who then arrested the accused youth with Gujarat’s Surat Crime Branch Police team. According to reports, Surat Police busted a large terrorist network and arrested a Maulvi named Sohail, who was aiming to assassinate key political leaders across the country.

After Maulvi was captured, a suspicious conversation was found on his mobile. When Surat Crime Branch Police located the cellphone numbers based on the conversation, they discovered that they belonged to Ashok Suthar aka Abu Bakar, a resident of Vishwakarma Gate in Bikaner.

Tejaswini Gautam, the district superintendent of police, stated that phone numbers from Pakistan were found on the arrested accused’s cell phone. The youth who was arrested has links to fundamentalist organizations.
