Stocks in focus on May 30: Suzlon, Infosys, NBCC, Bajaj Auto, Wipro, NLC India, and more

Indian equities will closely track a wide list of stocks today as corporate earnings, fresh announcements, and brokerage actions set the tone for trading.

Leading the pack, Suzlon reported a sharp rise in net profit to Rs 1,181 crore versus Rs 254 crore, with revenue at Rs 3,774 crore. NBCC posted net profit at Rs 176 crore from Rs 136 crore, and revenue growth to Rs 4,642 crore. Infosys unveiled 200+ enterprise AI agents under its Topaz AI platform with Google Cloud.

Wipro launched the "Wipro Innovation Network" to drive co-innovation in AI and quantum computing. NLC India signed a JV with Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy & Infrastructure.

Vakrangee’s unit Vortex Engineering secured an LOI from Punjab & Sind Bank for 600 ATMs. Orchid Pharma received a favourable USFDA Establishment Inspection Report (EIR).

Harsha Engineers saw DSP Mutual Fund buying 4.64 lakh shares at Rs 383 per share, and Frontier Springs announced orders worth Rs 292.6 crore from Rail Coach Factory and Modern Coach Factory.

Suzlon, Ola Electric, KNR Constructions stocks in news after earnings

On the downside, Ola Electric widened its net loss to Rs 870 crore from Rs 416 crore YoY, while revenue fell to Rs 611 crore from Rs 1,598 crore. KNR Constructions posted net profit of Rs 7.59 crore versus Rs 340.61 crore, with revenue declining.

SJVN reported a net loss of Rs 128 crore compared to a Rs 61 crore profit earlier. Mazdock posted net profit of Rs 325 crore versus Rs 663 crore YoY.

In block deals, Wardwizard promoter Yatin Sanjay Gupte sold 64.50 lakh shares between May 21 and May 27.

Dividends, F&O additions, price band changes

Several stocks go ex-dividend today: Infosys (Rs 22/share), Bajaj Finance (Rs 44/share), Angel One (Rs 26/share), GlaxoSmithKline (Rs 42/share), among others.

New stocks entering F&O segment: RVNL, BDL, Bluestar, Fortis, Kaynes, Mankind, PPL Pharma, Uno Minda.

Price band changes apply to GRSE, Centum, Kilitech, Winsol, ITI, Unimech, and Sejalltd.

Bajaj Auto:

  • Bernstein retained 'Outperform' with TP Rs 11,000, highlighting sustained margins and strong exports outlook.
  • CLSA also maintained 'Outperform' (TP Rs 10,149), noting 6% YoY revenue growth and gains in e-2W market share.
  • Jefferies rated 'Hold' with TP Rs 8,000; positive on EV business but cautious on domestic share.

Samvardhana Motherson:
