Rajkot TRP Game Zone Fire: Main Accused Arrested In Rajasthan

The key suspect in the case of a gaming zone fine in Gujarat's Rajkot that killed 27 people has been arrested, police said on Monday.
Dhawal Thakkar, the main culprit, was arrested on Abu Road in Rajasthan. The police found that he had been hiding in a relative's residence in Rajasthan.
A local court earlier today sent three persons arrested in connection with the game zone fire to police custody for 14 days.
Special public prosecutor Tushar Gokani stated that when questioned about certain documents, the accused claimed they were burned in the fire.
A first information report (FIR) was registered against six of the TRP game zone partners. Yuvrajsinh Solanki and Rahul Rathod, two partners in Raceway Enterprise that managed the TRP game zone, were taken into custody earlier today, as was Nitin Jain, the manager of the recreation centre.
According to the FIR, the accused built a 50-metre-wide and 60-metre-long structure as tall as a three-story building out of metal sheet fabrication to set up a game zone.
They lacked appropriate firefighting equipment and had not obtained a no-objection certificate (NOC) from the local fire department.
