Today marks the 24th death anniversary of former Union Minister Rajesh Pilot. On this day, Pilot, commonly referred to as the messiah of farmers, lost his life in a road accident on the Jaipur-Agra highway near Bhandaana village in the Dausa district. Eight MPs, including Sachin Pilot, Rajesh Pilot's son and a large number of Congress MLAs arrived.

Numerous leaders of the Congress and other party, such as his son Sachin Pilot, former Rajasthani Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge, paid tribute on the anniversary of his death.

On Rajesh Pilot's death anniversary, a Sarvadharma Sabha was performed at the Pilot Memorial in Jirauta, Dausa. At the same time, Sachin Pilot wrote a social media post for his father. He wrote, 'Today, on the death anniversary of my respected father Late Shri Rajesh Pilot ji, I pay my heartfelt tribute to him. National service and public welfare were his foremost goals. Ashok Gehlot, the former Chief Minister of Rajasthan and a senior Congress politician has also posted on social media for Rajesh Pilot. He wrote, 'Humble tributes to former Union Minister Shri Rajesh Pilot on his death anniversary. Your role in the service of Rajasthan and the country was important.'
