The Rajasthan Weather Department has issued a relief notice amid the extreme heat. The Meteorological Department has forecast lightning and rain in Tonk, Churu, Sikar, Bundi, Baran and Kota. The wind will blow at a pace of 30 km/h.
Rajasthan has been experiencing severe heatwaves for the past 4-5 days. In many parts of the Jodhpur, Bikaner, Jaipur, Bharatpur and Kota divisions, the maximum temperature reached 45°C. The maximum temperature is predicted to rise by 2 degrees Celsius over the next 48 hours. The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for the majority of Jodhpur and Bikaner, in western Rajasthan. Many regions are expected to have maximum temperatures surpassing 46 degrees Celsius between May 23 and May 25.
People are concerned about increasing temperatures in Dholpur (Dholpur weather). Due to the harsh conditions, the temperature has been over 46 degrees Celsius for the past four days. Water is being sprayed at petrol stations because of concerns about machines hanging due to heat.
Numerous regions in the state have reported high temperatures between 44 and 47 degrees Celsius over the past 24 hours, according to the Jaipur Meteorological Center. In Pilani, the highest recorded temperature was 46.6 degrees Celsius.
The Meteorological Department predicts that within the next 72 hours, the maximum temperature will likely rise by 2 degrees. Aside from the heatwave, a severe heatwave is forecast in several parts of Rajasthan during the following two days.
