In Rajasthan, the BJP won 14 of the 25 Lok Sabha seats in 2024, while the Congress took home eight seats. The CPI(M), Rashtriya Loktantrik Party, and Bharat Adivasi Party all won one seat. For Congress, which didn’t win any seats in the 2019 elections, this was an improvement. Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal, Union Minister Bhupender Yadav, Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla were among the BJP’s notable winners in Bikaner, Alwar and Jodhpur.
