The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board has been authorized by the Rajasthan Election Commission to release the results of all recruitment exams public. In a letter to the Principal Secretary of the Personnel Department, Chief Electoral Officer Praveen Gupta authorized the Staff Selection Board to verify documents, check eligibility and announce the results of the recruitment exams.
Let us inform you that the Staff Selection Board’s recruitment examination process was halted due to the Rajasthan Lok Sabha election code of conduct. As a result, candidates for 4.16 lakh candidates in various recruitment examinations, including those for computer, CHO, junior accountant and information assistant, had to wait longer for their results and appointments. The Unemployed Youth Organization also provided memorandums to the state government multiple times and a hearing is currently taking place.
It is worth noting that about 4 lakh 16 thousand students connected with various recruitment tests held in Rajasthan before the code of conduct for the Lok Sabha elections 2024 are awaiting their results. These include 70 thousand 514 CHO applicants, 1 lakh 35 thousand 85 Junior Accountants and Tehsil Revenue Accountants, 79 thousand 382 Information Assistants, 85 thousand 471 Computers, and 46 thousand 65 Agriculture Supervisors, whose wait is now over.
Rajasthan Chief Election Officer Praveen Gupta has sent a letter in this regard, stating that the commission has no objections to releasing the delayed exam results. Provided that no political benefit is gained from it.
