Prem Chand Bairwa, the deputy chief minister of Rajasthan, stated that the current trends according to the Election Commission of India (ECI) indicate the BJP ahead with 236 seats and that they will achieve their goal of 400 seats.
Prem Chand Bairwa told ANI, “The trends are in favour of the BJP. The trends are coming as per our expectations. And gradually, we will also reach our target and we are completely confident of that.”
He also said, “We will win more than 400 Lok Sabha seats… In Rajasthan, we will secure all 25 Lok Sabha seats.”
Bairwa claimed that the actual statistics would be available in a few hours, saying, “Till now, the trends of ballot papers are coming. Now, the counting of EVMs will be started and we will reach our target. We have full faith in the people’s support that they have given to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP.”
According to the Election Commission, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led in Rajasthan with 14 Lok Sabha seats, while the Congress had eight.
