Private college in Jaipur receives bomb threat, nothing suspicious found

Police reported that a private institution in the city received a bomb threat via email on Tuesday. Police responded quickly after receiving the report and searched the premises, but no suspicious items were found.

The email was sent to SSG Pareek PG College in Shastri Nagar. Police stated that the email was received in the name of the "KNR" " group, which also claimed responsibility for bomb threats issued to Delhi schools last month.

According to police, "Efforts are being made to identify and trace the sender," as reported by news agency PTI.

This happened one day after an email with a bomb threat was received by a hospital in Thane and the Delhi airport.

It was eventually discovered that the bomb threat on a Delhi-Dubai flight that had caused chaos at IGI Airport was fake. The bomb threat was reported to Delhi Police on Monday around 9:35 a.m. "On June 17, at 9.35 am, an email was received in DIAL office, of the IGI Airport with the threat of bomb inside Delhi to Dubai flight," a senior police officer stated.

While in Thane, the police closed the area, preventing anyone from moving. The bomb squad and dog squad were also dispatched to the scene for further investigation, according to Mira-Bhayandar, Vasai-Virar (MBVV) police.
