Theft incidents have been increasing in recent years, raising public concerns. Pickpockets frequently target vulnerable people, making crowded places ideal locations for stealing. A shocking incident recently went viral on the internet in which a guy was seen stealing a cell phone from a crowded restaurant in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The incident was recorded on the restaurant’s CCTV.
In the viral video, a guy enters a restaurant and targets two elderly men who are having conversations while eating. He sits silently in the booth next to them and quickly reaches into one of the customer’s pockets. After stealing the phone, he quickly leaves the restaurant.

After being shared online, the video has gone viral on numerous social media sites, drawing the attention of Rajasthan Police. The police directed those in charge to take action fast. “The concerned have been directed to take necessary action and expose the matter soon,” DCP East Jodhpur penned in Hindi.
