Man slits wife's throat while she was asleep over suspicion of infidelity in Bharatpur

In a horrifying incident that occurred on Tuesday night in Bharatpur, Rajasthan, a man allegedly killed his wife by slitting her throat while she was asleep at their home in Sainik Colony.

As per the police, the culprit, Satendra Kumar, thought that his wife, Rajni, was having an extramarital affair, which led him to commit a horrible murder.

Anil Jasoria, the Sevar station house officer, said, "Satendra Kumar slit his wife Rajni's throat when she and their three children were asleep. He also stabbed the victim in the neck and other body parts multiple times. He suspected Rajni was having an affair with another man."

Kumar has been arrested by the police, and the victim's body was sent in for a post-mortem examination. The couple's three children were inside the house when the crime was committed, which shocked the neighbourhood. The inquiry is ongoing, and further information are awaited.
