JDA Bulldozer Action: Bulldozers to run on more than 120 illegal construction houses in Jaipur

The Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) destroyed around 65 shops and residences on Tuesday, June 18. The Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) will destroy around 200 illegal residences, shops, and schools in a 1.8-kilometer region of Mansarovar, Jaipur to remove encroachment. Seeing JDA’s actions, some people have begun demolishing their own constructions.

On Tuesday, the JDA started action against illegal construction on the proposed 100-foot sector road (Himank Path and Chopra Farm Road) connecting Meera Path (B-2 Bypass New Sanganeer Road) and Vande Mataram Marg. The incident started around 10 a.m. on Heera Path. JDA’s action concluded at St. Teresa School at 1:30 p.m. JDA sent a notification a month ago.

The JDA will destroy illegal buildings related to the 20 colonies. These locations are densely populated. There are several houses on the roadside here. As reported by rajasthan.ndtv.in, these include Uttam Nagar, Shriram Nagar, Sumer Nagar Extension, Raghu Vihar, Krishna Vihar Extension, Shankar Vatika, Sumer Nagar, Shriram Colony, Suraj Vatika, Balaji Nagar, Kailashpuri, Krishna Vihar-A and B, Shri Gopal Nagar, Shiv Vatika, Sukhija Vihar Extension, Chopra Enclave, Babu Nagar, Shiv Vatika C and Ganpati Enclave.
