Head constable at Atru police station arrested while taking bribe of 10,000 rupees

The Kota ACB team conducted a sting operation late at night in Atru, Baran district, Rajasthan. The Kota ACB team detained broker Bittu and Jitendra Singh, a police station head constable, for accepting a Rs 10,000 bribe at the Krishi Upaj Mandi of the Atru police station area of the district.
This action was carried out by Kota ACB's Additional SP Mukul Sharma and the team of CI Prithviraj. Regarding the case, complainant Omprakash stated that a month earlier, Mukesh Kumar Nai, the Khaiwal of the betting business in Atru, had a fight with his brothers, on which Atru police had filed a complaint. To close the case, broker Bittu Sharma alias Yogesh demanded Rs. 20,000, but when the complainant did not have money then, he kept the earrings as payment. Meanwhile, the complainant's daughter also died, but the bribe-takers continued to demand money. After four days, the complainant organized the money.
The complainant brought this up to Kota ACB. Following the investigation's confirmation of bribery, steps were taken to catch them. At 7 p.m. on Friday, the complainant delivered the bribe money to the broker after the broker called the victim at Krishi Upaj Mandi Atru. In Krishi Upaj Mandi, the broker accepted a bribe of 10,000 rupees. The head constable at the police station had to receive the bribe money from the broker. The ACB team was prepared before. ACB nabbed both of them late on Friday night in Krishi Mandi. The matter is being investigated.
