Hanuman Beniwal resigned from the post of MLA

Hanuman Beniwal resigned as MLA after being elected MP from Nagaur. He has won the assembly election in Khinvsar. This time, he ran with the India Alliance and was elected MP. Today he submitted his resignation to Speaker Vasudev Devnani in the assembly. In a chat with the press, he stated that he will miss the assembly. The assembly by-election will now be held for the Khinvsar seat he resigned.

“After being elected as MP from Nagaur Lok Sabha, today I submitted my resignation from the membership of the Legislative Assembly to the Honorable Speaker of Rajasthan Legislative Assembly, Shri Vasudev Devnani, ” Beniwal wrote on social media,

Jyoti Mirdha, the BJP candidate, lost to Hanuman Beniwal by 40,000 votes. Congress and Hanuman Beniwal’s party were allies. For the Nagaur Lok Sabha seat, Hanuman Beniwal was up against Jyoti Mirdha, who had left the Congress and joined the BJP.

An alliance between Hanuman Beniwal and the BJP was established for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Even so, he had won by defeating Jyoti Mirdha. Jyoti Mirdha ran for the elections on a Congress ticket at that time.
