Former Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot targets leaders who left Congress and joined BJP

Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has criticized Congress politicians who switched to the BJP. Gehlot has even described these leaders as non-performing assets.

Taking on this Twitter account, Gehlot wrote in Hindu, "One of the reasons for BJP's poor performance in these elections was the inclusion of hundreds of Congress "non-performing asset" category leaders in their party. The departure of such leaders from Congress gave more opportunities to the workers and such leaders became a liability for BJP, due to which its own workers got disappointed. Excess of arrogance is causing the downfall of BJP."

In another post, he shared a video and stated that it is quite satisfying to witness these educational institutions being developed on JLN Road in Jaipur. He wrote, "Seeing these educational institutions being built on JLN Road, Jaipur, it gives me immense satisfaction that during the tenure of our government, institutions with the best infrastructure have been built in Rajasthan, which is part of my goal of making Rajasthan No. 1."

He also added, This is the Mahatma Gandhi School of Governance and Social Sciences which will run on the lines of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences in Pune and the MIT School of Government. I hope that the present government will soon formally launch it and give our youth the opportunity to study here."
