Former cabinet minister Vishvendra Singh filed a case against his son and wife for theft

Vishvendra Singh, a member of Bharatpur's former royal family and a cabinet minister in the Gehlot government in Rajasthan, has filed a theft complaint against his wife Divya Singh and son Anirudh at the Mathura Gate police station in Bharatpur. As per the report, Vishvendra said that the mother-son duo stole diamonds and jewels worth crores of rupees. However, the police are not sharing any details on this particular case.

In the report, Vishvendra Singh wrote, “Divya and Anirudh had resigned from the membership of the Bharatpur Royal Family Religious and Ceremonial Trust and their trust membership ended on March 19, 2024. I brought 10 kg of gold on April 2, 2011. There was no place to keep it safe in Bharatpur. Therefore, it was kept in a locker in Delhi.”

According to police reports, Vishvendra Singh has accused his wife Divya Singh and son Anirudh of assault and stealing diamonds, jewelry and gold. He claims that both of them had stolen from the lockers. Let us remind you that he had previously accused them of assaulting him and not him enough food. But in this case, his son Anirudh and wife Divya Singh strongly denied it, accusing him of selling Moti Mahal and Maharaja Surajmal's property.
