Farmer’s Son From Panduri Village Scores 94% In Rajasthan Board Class 12

Divyapal Singh, a 12th-grade student from the small village Panduri in the Sirohi district, has done something great.

The young boy used to cross the river to go to school in the summer and winter, but when it flooded, he had to go 10 kilometres to get there. In the 12th board exam results released on Monday, Divyapal Singh brought pride to the family by getting 94%. Divyapal passed from the Arts Faculty with a 100 in Political Science and a 98 in Geography. The announcement of the results sparked an outbreak of happiness among the family and relatives.

In a recent interview with Local 18, Divyapal Singh said that in addition to attending school every day, he used to study for two hours each day. He joined BS Memorial School till 9th grade and then continued his education at Kivarli Government School. His ultimate goal is to become a physical education teacher. He studied for the exam by setting a goal and staying away from cell phones and social media.

Divyapal's father, Ranjeet Singh, is a farmer, while his mother, Manohar Kunwar, is a housewife. Divyapal's grandfather is a retired schoolteacher. Divyapal credited his accomplishments to his teachers and parents.
