BSF Rajasthan Police arrested smuggler with heroin worth 20 crores from Pakistan

Narcotic drug heroin comes into India from across the border and smugglers are caught on a daily basis. Last night, the BSF Rajasthan Police captured a smuggler. This smuggler was detained with four kilos and eighty grams of heroin, worth Rs 20 crore on the international market. The smuggler caught is Saddam Hussain, a resident of Srikaranpur.
Srikaranpur CO Sanjeev Chauhan stated that an area dominance campaign was launched on the orders of SP Gaurav Yadav and the police activated their informer network. Surendra Kumar Prajapat, the police station's in-charge, received information on heroin smuggling in this area through the informer network.
The police set up a barricade and late at night, a person was seen coming from Padampur to Srikaranpur. When this individual was searched, four kilos and eighty grams of heroin were found in his possession. This heroin was brought from Pakistan, Saddam Hussain, the arrested smuggler, is a resident of Srikaranpur. Currently, the cops are interrogating this smuggler.
As per the report, Pakistani smugglers use drones to drop consignments of heroin in packages across the Indian border and local smugglers pick them up. The consignment of heroin is smuggled into other states, especially Punjab. Recently, the BSF and police found a large consignment of heroin in the Anupgarh-Raisinghnagar sector. The heroin seized today is worth around Rs 20 crore on the foreign market.
