Ashok Gehlot ask CM Bhajanlal to release the budget of Indira Gandhi Urban Employment Guarantee Scheme

Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot asked Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma to release the budget for the Indira Gandhi Urban Employment Guarantee Scheme.
Ashok Gehlot has stated that his government made the Rajasthan Minimum Income Guarantee Act. This ensured the old, crippled and single women a minimum pension of Rs 1,000 along with 125 days of work under the MNREGA in rural and the Indira Gandhi Urban Employment Guarantee Scheme in cities. Furthermore, there was an annual 15% rise in this pension.
Taking to his X account, Gehlot wrote, "Even though our government has changed, but due to this law, today the BJP government of Rajasthan is transferring the benefit of 15% annual increase in pension worth Rs 1037 crore to more than 88 lakh beneficiaries. This is the Congress's thinking of justice which no government can stop."
He added, "On this occasion, I would like to request Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Ji that his government has stopped the budget of Indira Gandhi Shahri Rozgar Guarantee Yojana running under this Act, due to which the employment of lakhs of urban needy families is getting affected. Provide employment to those families by giving budget for this scheme."
