4 killed in pharma factory fire in Rajasthan’s Khairthal-Tijara

A fire broke out at Vartika Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals Private Limited Company in the Khuskheda Industrial Area. The factory had around 50 employees at the time. After receiving the information, around ten fire department trucks arrived. In approximately an hour and a half, the firemen had gotten the fire under control.

Smoke began to emerge from the plant due to the fire. Many workers became unconscious. Four workers were burned alive. According to Fire Officer Naresh Meena, the fire began as a result of a short circuit in the factory. The explosion occurred only after the short circuit.

The deceased corpse was found on June 25, a Tuesday. During the rescue, three bodies were found. All three of their bodies were stuck to the wall. The blast had caused the wall to fall. The factory has a very narrow area. A lot of goods were also stored there. The workers had terrible difficulties getting out.

The accident claimed the lives of Vikas, Ajay and Vishal Singh from Uttar Pradesh, as well as Rajkumar from Jammu & Kashmir. Vikas, Ajay and Vishal worked as operators, with Rajkumar as the shift in charge.

Tijara DSP Shivraj stated that the factory caught fire around 6:30 p.m. The Khushkheda Reico fire station headquarters is 100 meters from the facility. Fire engines were also dispatched from Bhiwadi and Tijara. The fire was brought under control after roughly an hour and a half of work.
